Quite frankly I used to feel like complete crap! I had terrible digestion that left me bloated and sluggish most of the time, hormonal imbalances that left me with debilitating PMS and painful periods each month, frequent headaches, low energy, sugar cravings, dry skin, weak hair and nails, and excess weight around my middle that I just couldn’t shift no matter what I did.
I lived on all the refined carbs and sugary foods, and I thought I was healthy because I added spinach to my lunches. After reaching breaking point I finally got some help and went to see a Nutritional Therapist.
She worked WITH me to help me start to make some simple changes to my diet and my lifestyle that had a BIG impact on how I felt and experienced life day to day. I started to feel a sense of waking up with a a renewed sense of energy and vibrancy.
Without sounding cheesy or annoying I really have to say that the changes I made back in 2008 transformed my life in a way I could never have imagined, and I’ve never looked back.
Today people ask me if I ‘miss’ certain things or aspects from my previous habits and the answer is a resounding no! It’s impossible to miss a way of being that was making me feel so awful day to day. The changes I made became a way of life for me and a really enjoyable one that I wouldn’t change for the world.
After a 13 year career in finance working in various investment banks and trading houses in the City, I eventually decided to leave the corporate worLd behind me and start my career as a Nutritional Therapist so I could live my life teaching other women how to feel AMAZING! I’ve invested a tonne of money and thousands of hours into my nutrition and functional health education and qualification over the years. I spend hundred of hours each year developing and deepening my knowledge and staying up to date with the latest research around nutrition, health, women’s hormone balance and functional medicine.
